read to page 19, but had to post my random thoughts as my brain is starting to overflow...
SOE investigate the bright star, and SOE somehow design something that sleepers ignore (zephyr). Coincidence?
Originally by: veryez, from Empyrean age ôHe was the last living creature aboard a ship that was hurled through Point Genesis, which û contrary to Empire Lore û was not at all what it seemed. If the Jovians could feel hopeàthen the hope of an entire race was dying along with himàEmotions weeded out of the JoveÆs genetics through countless generations of progressive bioengineering, would have given meaning to the sacrifice that this particular ship had made.ö I donÆt really know how this ties in, only that it does.
Empire lore says it was a natural wormhole- what if it wasn't?
CCP Dropbear's page 1 link to c3-ftm on pubmed relates to its use to help prevent radiation induced cell death. quite a requirement for long term storage of bodies near a power plant that seems to use radiation collectors. supports the theory that the are (were?) sleeper bodies in stasis "somewhere". ANy other WH compounds with similar RL applications?
Jump-drive control nexus self destruct: Maybe it didn't fail- perhaps the bit they needed to self destruct (maybe the bit that doesn't need a cyno, or whatever) went boom, and we're left with a variant of tech that we already have, rather than something better. Maybe it wasn't a self destruct in the first place, but part of a reaction/operation mode.
solar engineering: Open a wormhole close to a star to direct the energy to the collection unit
Hilen Tukoss. Program Director, Otosela Neuropsychology Center. Any evidence about what corp/faction he/this belongs to? He's deteis, doing surveillance on creodron(senator) and Zainou
Originally by: Strange energy readings The radiation levels of this site are high but within tolerable limits. Wavelength readouts suggest a large cache of a powerful isotope was once housed here, but no solid traces remain. The level of radiant antimatter can only be explained by an immense--and recent--matter displacement. By the way, incoming hostiles.
What do people assume "matter displacement" means? Explosion, WH transit?
Hypotheses:- sleepers lack shields due to shield vulnerabilities with isogen-5. implies either drone proximity to it (collection?), or enemies that use it. Are the buildings with shields actually sleeper buildings or Talocan?
- military/civilian sites are mixed because with WH technology, there are no front lines/safe havens, all systems are equally vulnerable.
also- anyone tried hacking sleeper sites with the sansha analyzer head in a jar) yet?

The Intaki Syndicate, not the SOE, designed and developed the Zephyr.
Been a while since I read ante. just re-read it. oops- got mixed up.

OK, caught up now. more thoughts to mull on.
CCP Dropbear said that the sleeper storyline had been planned from when COSMOS was introduced. When did rogue drones first make their appearance?
In some missions, rogue drones are mining for things that are "worthless" (banidine etc). could it be the same people telling us these are worthless as are feeding us the line about "Current scientific opinion broadly agrees that these items [..data libraries etc..] are of little material value." (Anoikis)
obvious (maybe too obvious) link is that drones could be going rogue because of "leaked" signals from either sleepers or (pushing it a bit) sansha slaves?.
Could there be a pattern to the adjective for sleeper ships present at each site?- emergent - AI
- awakened - sleeper with physical body
- sleepless - ? maybe capsuleer/uploaded sleeper
could a pattern give a clue as to the site's purpose?
Did sansha develop the codebreakers to hack the DED (and the gates etc) or to hack the sleeper sites?
2am here, so I'm going to sleep on it for now..

ok- people have been commenting here about potentially unlocking areas by doing stuff with sleeper sites.
This may call for some tinfoil, but

any ideas? Or is it likely to be just a misrepresentation of what he actually meant?

There's also the practicality- even though Amarrian emperors "can expect to live for at least 500 years through the use of implants and other life-prolonging technology", cloning would extend that indefinately, and I can't see the heirs being too keen on that.
